Dave Darling, (born 1958 in San Francisco CA), is a record producer and recording engineer. He is best known for his work with the rockabilly artist Brian Setzer and the Stray Cats.
Darling has also worked with acts such as Meredith Brooks, Nikki Sixx, Until June, Tom Waits, Jack Johnson[1]
Once while working on a recording session with Brian Setzer, Darling made an echo chamber out of an old cistern he saw lying in the back yard.[2]
