Danger on the Great Lakes is the 173rd volume of the Nancy Drew Mystery Series.
Plot
Nancy's father Carson gave Nancy three cruise tickets. The cruise passed through Chicago and Toronto. While shopping, they make a new friend, Amber who is also going on the Great Lakes cruise. She said that her boyfriend got her a ticket for a lower price since he works on the ship.
When the three are on the ship, Amber is not having any fun since she thinks Craig is neglecting her. Nancy, who is investigating why for her, finds out that Craig is really a detective.
Craig tells her that he is working on a case which is hunting for a diamond thief. Craig asks her if she would like to help on the case. Nancy agrees. Will she, Craig and her friends find who the thief is before the SS Great Lakes sinks?
