Creature from Black Lake is a 1976 American horror film.[1][2]
Overview
The Creature from Black Lake is a low budget 1976 horror film. It is about a Bigfoot type creature that has been reported near a Louisiana town and surrounding swamp area. After local trapper Joe Canton (Jack Elam) reports that his friend was killed by the creature, two Chicago college students load up their van and head off to investigate. Along the way they butt heads with the local sheriff who warns them about upsetting the people of the town. Of course they ignore the sheriff and end up finding out the hard way that the creature is real.
