Copenhagen disease

Copenhagen disease, sometimes known as Copenhagen Syndrome, refers to progressive non-infectious anterior vertebral fusion, a rare childhood disease of unknown aetiology.[1]

It affects the lower back, as can be seen on MRI scans. It is characterised by a lack of disc height of the vertebrae.
