Cooma Football Club is an Australian semi-professional association football club based in Cooma, New South Wales. The club plays at Nijong Oval and currently competes in the National Premier Leagues Capital Football. In 2006 and 2012 Cooma were the State League winners.
History
Cooma FC was formed in 1952 by the workforce of the Snowy Mountains Hydro Scheme which attracted people from all over the world to the Australian Alps.[1]
For the 2015 season, Cooma announced a partnership with Tuggeranong club Brindabella Blues FC. U12, U14 and U16 NPL teams will be administered by Brindabella while U18, U20 and senior NPL teams will be based in Cooma. Premier League clubs will be known as Tigers FC.[2]
Club facilities
The clubs home ground is Nijong Oval. The facility has three grass fields and a clubhouse.
