Claudia DeMonte

Claudia DeMonte is an American artist from New York City. She is both a painter and exhibition curator, best known for her development of female-centric art exhibitions featuring works from over 170 countries. An eponymous book covering her artistic career was published in 2009 by Pomegranate Communications. She is married to artist Ed McGowin.[1][2] Over her career she has had more than sixty one-woman exhibitions of her work and has been a part of more than 300 group exhibitions.[3]
