Circles.Life is a digital telecommunications operator which was launched in Singapore in May 2016.[1] Circles.Life offers post-paid mobile services to customers,[2] providing them with the option of managing their mobile plans through a mobile app, CirclesCare.[3]
Circles.Life does not have physical distribution channels.[4] Customers can register online and receive their SIM cards within a few days,[5] as well as purchase mobile phones through the website.[6]
History
Circles.Life operates under Liberty Wireless Pte Ltd, a Singapore-based mobile telecommunications company incorporated in 2014.[7] In July 2015, Liberty Wireless signed an agreement with M1 Limited that allows it to tap on M1’s mobile network. This will enable Liberty Wireless to provide voice, messaging and data services to customers;[8] becoming the first Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) in Singapore to offer a full service mobile network experience.[9]
Following its launch in Singapore, Circles.Life plans to expand its services to other countries in Southeast Asia.[10]
Network coverage, products and services
Circles.Life has a 4G outdoor coverage of 99.10%,[11] based on M1’s coverage.
Circles.Life offers a monthly based mobile plan that is similar to SIM-only plans, starting from S$28.[12] Its services are heavily targeted at the data-savvy consumer segment which makes up 15 to 20 per cent of Singapore’s market.[13]
CirclesCare
CirclesCare is a mobile application that allows customers to customise their plan through a personalised dashboard.[14] It can also be used to track data usage and costs, and connect with the customer service team through a built-in customer care section[15]
Partnerships
Circles.Life has partnered with financial institutions and banks such as DBS and UOB to offer customers interest-free instalment plans for mobile handsets.[16]
