Charles W. Huntington

Charles White Huntington (born May 22, 1854) was a notable Congregational clergyman.

He was born in Stockbridge, Massachusetts. He attended the Williston Seminary, and graduated from Williams College in 1876, Phi Beta Kappa. He attended Harvard Law School from 1876-77, and Andover Theological Seminary from 1878-81.

He was ordained in 1881, and served as a minister in Ellsworth, Maine (1881-1884), Central Congregational Church in Providence, Rhode Island (1884-1888), High Street Church in Lowell, Massachusetts (1888-1905), Central Congregational Church in Toledo, Ohio (1905-1914), then in Waltham, Massachusetts and Claremont, California in 1915. In 1919, he was involved in the Unitarian Church.

He received a D.D. degree from Williams in 1901. He was a trustee at the Bradford Academy in Bradford, Massachusetts.[1][2][3]
