Cavelossim Beach is a public beach located in Cavelossim Village in Goa, India. This beach is known for its contrasting black rocks and white sand.

Location
Cavelossim Beach is located at 15 km south of Margao, the district headquarters of South Goa. Other neighbouring beaches include Carmona Beach to the north and Mobar Beach to the south.
Overview
Cavelossim Beach is a beach with white sand and black lava rocks.[3] The beach lies in between the river Sal along the east and the Arabian sea to its west. Being a peaceful beach, Cavelossim attracts a lot of tourists.Besides relaxing or swimming on the beach one can also go for dolphin sighting boat trips in the sea.
Travel
The nearest airport is Dabolim Airport which is about 67 km away. The nearest railway station is Madgoan junction railway station in just 20 minutes drive. Cavelossim beach can be reached from Margao by bus, although the frequency of buses is low. Private transport such as cabs, auto rickshaws are also available from Margao.
