Carol Zardetto
Carol Zardetto is a Guatemalan novelist, lawyer, script-writer and diplomat, and is part of the generation of Guatemalan writers who lived through the 36 years of armed conflict in that country.
Biography
She was born in Guatemala City, and has a degree in law. She was co-author of the theatre criticism column "Butaca de dos" (Seat for two; "Magazine XX", Siglo Veintiuno, 1994-1996). She published the novel "Con pasión absoluta" (With absolute passion) in 2007; it was awarded the Mario Monteforte Toledo prize in 2004.[1]
