Canopy Innovations

Canopy is a language translation software used primarily by hospitals and clinics to communicate with LEP's, limited English proficiency,[1] or non-English speaking patients. Through innovation funding and grants from the National Institutes of Health, Canopy was launched in 2010 by CEO and founder Jerrit Tan.[2] In September 2016, Mike Cullinan was named as the Canopy Innovations CEO.

Headquartered in New York, NY, adapters of its software include Duke University, University of Pennsylvania and UNC Health Care.[2]
