Calamiana illota is a species of goby native to marine, brackish and fresh waters of Singapore, Thailand, Brunei and the Philippines. This species is the only known member of its genus.[2]
Taxonomic Issues
While currently considered the only species in the genus Calamiana in FishBase, recent studies have strongly suggested that this species in reality belongs in the genus Eugnathogobius of which Calamiana would be a junior synonym.[3]
