For the Manny Pacquiao vs. Timothy Bradley fight Ross scored the fight 115-113 for Bradley. Since the other two judges split their scorecards the card of Ross made the fight a split decision in favor of Bradley. This scorecard drew heavy criticism.[1][2][3][4][5]

Floyd Mayweather vs. Saúl Álvarez

For the Floyd Mayweather vs. Saúl Álvarez fight Ross scored the fight 114-114. Unlike the Pacquiao-Bradley fight, this scorecard did not change the win/loss result, but did change the scoring from a unanimous decision to a majority decision. Retirement

After the Mayweather-Álvarez fight, Ross stepped down as a boxing judge.[14]
