Bursley Hall is a University of Michigan residence hall located on the University of Michigan North Campus in Ann Arbor, Michigan. It is the largest dormitory at the University of Michigan, housing approximately 1,300 students.[1]
Bursley Hall is named after Gilbert E. Bursley (1913-1998), a Republican member of the Michigan House of Representatives from 1961-1964, and a member of the Michigan Senate from 1965-1978.[2][3] Bursley was a candidate for the Board of Regents of the University of Michigan in 1978, and served as the president of Cleary College from 1978-1984.[2]
Bursley includes a convenience store, the Blue Apple, and a dining hall that serves all students living on North Campus.
