Bursa ranelloides is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Bursidae, the frog shells.[1]

Distribution

This species occurs in European waters, the Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico; and off South Africa, the Philippines and Japan.

Description

The maximum recorded shell length of Bursa ranelloides tenuisculpta is 75 mm.[2]

Habitat

Minimum recorded depth of Bursa ranelloides tenuisculpta is 30 m.[2] Maximum recorded depth is 250 m.[2]
