Brooke White-Lancette
Brooke White (born August 31, 1979) is a women's professional ice hockey player and co-founder of the Minnesota Whitecaps[1] of the Western Women's Hockey League, as well as a hockey skills coach.[2][3]
Prior to founding the Whitecaps, White played for the Northeastern Huskies women's ice hockey program. During the 1998–99 season, White played in all 35 games, and had a point in each of her first give games, including the game-winning power play goal against Cornell. She is also credited for the winning goal against Colby, and the first two goals in the game. Before NU: White spent three years at Northwood Prep, where she played in 42 games for the Rockets, had 28 goals and 47 assists for 75 points, and led the Rockets to three consecutive New York State Championships. In 2002–03, White led the Huskies in scoring, with 23 points, and 15 assists.[4]
One year earlier, during the 2001–02 season, White led the Huskies with 34 assists.[5] In 2010, Brooke White-Lancette, co-founding member of the Minnesota Whitecaps, is part of the Whitecaps' team that won the 2010 Clarkson Cup.[6]
