Besim Mehmedić (born 12 September 1955) is a Bosnian politician. He was the 8th Prime Minister of the Sarajevo Canton from 2009 to 2011,[2] the director of the Sarajevo Institute for Urbanization from 2002 to 2004 [3] and the Minister of Transport in the government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina from 2001 to 2005.[4] He was born in Sarajevo, where he completed his primary and highschool education, before graduating from the Faculty of Transportation, University of Sarajevo in 1979.
He was the 25th chairman of FK Sarajevo.
