The Baltimore Comets were a soccer team based out of Baltimore, Maryland that played in the North American Soccer League. They played from 1974 to 1975. Their home field was Memorial Stadium. Early in the 1975 season the team was evicted from Memorial Stadium due to non-payment of rent and had to move to Towson University and what is now Johnny Unitas Stadium.
After the 1975 season, the franchise moved to San Diego to become the San Diego Jaws.
