Bagacay is a barangay in San Jose, Camarines Sur.

Etymology

The name of the barangay was adapted from a kind of tall grass that grew abundantly in the place.[1]

Government

The elected barangay officials[2] are as follows: Roan E. Prado-Punong Barangay and the Barangay Councilors are: Manuel P. Nialega, Severo M. Clidoro Jr., Joselito J. Corono, Rowel C. Clidoro, Orlando A. Clidoro, Jorge P. Rosero, and Adriano P. Pillos. The appointed barangay secretary and treasurer are: Rene Jose P. Remetir and Michael D. Cledoro, respectively.
