Ayman Alkurd

Ayman Alkurd (c. 1975 – 13 January 2009) was a Palestinian footballer who played for the Palestine national football team and his last team was Falasteen Al-Ryadi.[1]

Alkurd died on 13 January 2009, at the age of 34, during the Israeli cast lead military operation in the Gaza strip in an airstrike on his building.[2] Additional casualties of the military operation include former national players Wajeh Moshtahe and Shadi Sbakhe and the member of the National Olympic Committee of Palestine Khalil Abed Jaber.
