Axel Klinckowström

Axel Klinckowström.

Axel Klinckowström (18671936) was a Swedish baron, zoologist, Arctic and Antarctic explorer, fictional writer and memoirist. Among his fictional works are the libretto Waldemarsskatten from 1898 and the play Olof Trätälja from 1908.[1]

The Svalbard fjord Klinckowströmfjorden is named after him.[2]
