Founded in 1995 in Melbourne, Australia, with core strengths in banking, financial services and payments domain, Attra is an IT services company providing consultancy, technology and IT outsourcing services. Attra's services span the entire gamut of financial services requirements that include;
- Advisory services covering high end consultancy and strategy, business analysis, project management services
- Application management services covering end to end technical & implementation services and 24X7 Support services following an SLA-based, ITIL compliant model
- Testing services including System Integration Testing (SIT), On-Behalf User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Production Verification Testing (PVT) as well as non-functional testing covering performance and stress testing. The testing services are aided through an internal testing practice that constantly innovates and aids the test delivery
- System Integration Services that include integration of complex banking platforms such as core back office application (cards, core banking), front office applications (CRM, internet banking, originations, collections etc.), Middleware (ESB) applications as well as downstream applications such as data warehouse, reporting and MIS tools
- Automation Services including automation of test scenarios on a variety of banking platforms using open source and commercial tools
- Digital services including mobility solutions, app development as well as analytics/business intelligence
Attra's clientele spreads across 22 countries and 5 continents. Attra's resource pool has now grown to 1300 resources across 5 delivery centers located in India (Bangalore, Pune and Hyderabad), UAE (Dubai) and Australia (Melbourne). History
1995 - Attra founded in the year 1995 as a niche consulting firm
1996 - One of the largest financial institutions & banks in Australia becomes Attra's client
1997 - Attra reaches 30 focusing exclusively on consulting analysis & development
2003 - Attra's Services expanded out of Australia into China & the UK for its Fortune 10 customer
2004 - Organization taken global with the conceptualization of offshore center in Bangalore
2006 - Attra signs 2 new customers: a large ME payments processor & an American payment processor providing ecommerce & payment solutions
2008 - Set up the Testing Practice to provide independent testing services & Testing Center of Excellence for a Fortune 10 customer
2008 - Attra signs 3 new customers: a leading card processor in Bahrain, largest private sector bank in India & one of the world's largest banking groups
2009 - Attra awarded as an "Emerge 50 Leaders" for 2009 by NASSCOM
2009 - Attra receives PCI DSS certification
2009 - Attra signs a new client who account for 24% of credit cards revenue in the US market
2010 - Attra expands its reach within its Fortune 10 customer
2010 - Attra signs 2 large million dollar engagements with its existing customers
2010 - Attra signs up a partner in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to pursue potentials in this region
2012 - Attra was assessed by the Software Engineering Institute and awarded the Capability Maturity Model Integration Level 5 certification
2014 – Everest Group identifies Attra as an emerging player in Banking IT Outsourcing[1][2]
2014 – Attra Appraised at CMMi Level 5
2015 – Attra opened a new development center in Pune and Hyderabad 2016: Ended the FY clocking 42 million USD growing at 30% YOY
