Armoured Troops (Ukrainian: Танкові війська, Tankovi Viys’ka) are the corps in the Ukrainian Ground Forces, the main striking force of ground troops. They are used primarily in conjunction with mechanized forces in key areas and perform the following tasks:
- in defense - support of mechanized troops in repelling the enemy attack and causing counterattacks;
- in the attack - the application of powerful strokes to dissect enemy lines in greater depth, development of success, defeat the enemy in counter-battles and battles.

- 1st Armored Brigade – Honcharivske[1] Chernihiv Oblast, Ukraine
- 5th Armored Brigade – formed 2016[2]
- 17th Armored Brigade – Kryvyi Rih[3] Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, Ukraine
Disbanded Formations
- 17th Guards Tank Division[4][5] – 17th Armored Brigade – reformed into brigade by 2003
- 23rd Training Tank Division – 6065th Storage Base since 1987[5]
- 30th Guards Tank Division[5] – 30th Tank Brigade – July 30, 2004 reformed into 30th Mechanised Brigade
- 41st Guards Tank Division – 5193rd Storage Base since 1989[4][5]
- 42nd Guards Tank Division – 5359th Storage Base since 1990[4][5]
- 48th Guards Training Tank Division – 169th District Training Centre[4][5]
- 117th Guards Tank Division – 119th District Training Centre[5]
