Armed Forces Arming Authority (Egypt)

Armed Forces Arming Authority is one of the Egyptian Ministry of Defense agencies, It was formerly known as Technical Authority.

Foundation

Established in the November 2, 1967 by decision of President Gamal Abdel Nasser, headed by Major General / Abid Hamid Mahmud, Entrusted with the establishment and organization of this authority for the first time in the history of the armed forces, and called Technical Authority and the aim was to rebuild and organize forces: land - air - freely - air defense and other branches of the armed forces to raise technical efficiency, and the fruit of that lingers well defined in this is our time.
