Apostolic Administration of Atyrau
The Apostolic Administration of Atyrau is Latin pre-diocesan Roman Catholic missionary jurisdiction in Kazachstan.
It has its episcopal see in the Cathedral of the Transfiguration of Our Lord, in Atyrau. It is not exempt, but a suffragan of the metropolitan Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Mary Most Holy in Astana. Several of its ordinaries were promoted to bishop in the former Soviet republic's ecclesiastical province, notably at the suffragan see of Karaganda.
