Andi Qerfozi (born 12 September 1995 ) is an Albanian professional footballer who plays as a forward for Swiss club Kreuzlingen and the Albania national under-21 football team.

Career

Early career

Qerfozi was born in Switzerland to Albanian parents and his father was a Volleyball player Grigor Qerfozi.[1] He started his youth career at SC Bronschhofen. In 2013 he moved to FC Frauenfeld in 2. Liga. In the 2014–15 season, the striker scored 23 goals becoming the most top-scorer of the 6th Swiss tier league in the Eastern. On 1 July 2015 he moved to FC St. Gallen and was placed to the under-21 side. He scored 2 goals in the Swiss Cup match against Hausen in a 9–0 vicotry. He scored also in his Promotion League debut against Brühl in a 1–3 loss. After 7 matches and 3 goals, on the last day of autumn transfer window he was loaned to FC Wil with a contract until end of season. However he was returned to St. Gallen in the start of 2016s year and played again for the under-21 side 11 more matches where he managed to score 4 goals.[2]

FC Wil

At FC Wil Qerfozi managed to make his professional debut. He played as a substitute in two occasions during October 2015.[3]

International career

Since he holds dual citizenship of Switzerland and Albania he was selected by Albania national under-17 football team coach Sulejman Demollari in 2010.[1]

He was called up to the Albania national under-21 football team by coach Redi Jupi for the friendly match against Italy U21 on 10 August 2016.[4][5]
