Alizeh Iqbal Haider is a Pakistani politician, and former parliamentarian, affiliated with Pakistan Peoples Party. She became a member of national assembly on reserved seats for women from Sindh in Pakistani general election, 2013.[3] She's also spokesperson for Pakistan Peoples Party chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.[4] She voluntarily resigned from the NA seat in 2015 due to personal issues.
Education and career
Alizeh did her O levels from Convent of Jesus and Mary, Karachi in 1994 and A Levels from The Lyceum School, Karachi in 1996. In 1999, she enrolled in the University of Bristol and completed LLB Hons. In 2000, she completed Bar at Law from Lincoln's Inn, London.
Alizeh is specialised in Public International Law and Human Rights Law. In 2000, she joined family law firm "Hussain and Haider Advocates' which was set up by her grandfather Raja Tajammul Hussain and father Syed Iqbal Haider. She is actively advocating for human rights in Pakistan and is an active member of various human rights organisations such as Aurat Foundation, Human Rights Commission of Pakistan and Society for Secular Pakistan
