Alfred Pike Bissonnet
Alfred Pike Bissonnet (1914–1979) is a former Canadian diplomat. He was born in Stanstead, Quebec, the son of Alfred Joseph Bissonnet and Josephine Pike, and studied at Stanstead College and Bishop's University.[1] Bissonnet served overseas during World War II, joining the Department of Trade and Commerce at the end of the war.[1]
He was appointed as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Indonesia in 1968, and then concurrently as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Paraguay, Uruguay and Argentina.
