The Adwick upon Dearne civil parish covers Adwick itself and Mexborough. The population of the civil parish at the 2011 Census was 333.[1]
It lies near Mexborough and is in the borough of Doncaster. Adwick has seen quite high temperatures, but has never been the hottest in the country.
