A Merry Little Christmas (MB)
A Merry Little Christmas is the first Christmas release by Canadian singer-songwriter Matt Brouwer.[2] The 7 song collection was released on December 7, 2010, through Universal Music Distribution. The album received a very positive response at Christian radio stations eager for some fresh new holiday music, and has remained in heavy rotation at many stations across the US and Canada each December since its release. Critics commended Brouwer's performance and vocals as well as the more jazz/pop arrangements of new and classic Christmas songs. The album includes, "Angels Sing", which is an original composition written by Brouwer, and a cover of the Goo Goo Dolls hit Better Days that charted for Brouwer on the Billboard Christian chart in January 2011. Brouwer's version of the song was added to regular, non-seasonal CCM playlists on Air1 and KLOVE Christian stations throughout the following year.
