A Better Mantrap (ISBN 0-586-05706-4) is a collection of science fiction short stories by Bob Shaw, published in 1982.[1] The books is shaw's eighteenth book and third collection of short stories.[1] Critic David Langford described the book as niether exceptional, but consistently "high, level" but not as good as his novels.[1]
