The 2008 Polgolla bus bombing was a parcel bomb explosion inside a commuter bus carried out on June 6, 2008 in Polgolla Kandy, Sri Lanka. The bombing killed 2 civilians and injured around 20.[1]
The Sri Lankan government and Amnesty International blamed the LTTE for the attack. British foreign ministry called on all parties to the conflict to take responsibility for the protection of the civilians.[2]
