The 1986 UEFA Cup Final was a football tie played on 30 April and 6 May 1986 between Real Madrid C.F. of Spain and 1. FC Köln of West Germany. Madrid won 53 on aggregate. The second leg was originally scheduled for Thursday May 8, but was anticipated to Tuesday May 6 on request by Real Madrid for reasons of domestic match to be played. The match was disputed in Berlin instead of Cologne as 1. FC Köln was punished by UEFA to play no less than 350 km from home after troubles caused by its supporters in the 2nd leg of the semi-final against Waregem
